Green Power Labs Grows Again!

Dr. Zheng Qin recently joined the team at Green Power Labs as Controls Specialist, Smart Grid Operations. In this role Dr. Qin’s primary responsibilities will be design, development and integration of controls and artificial intelligence solutions for power utilities’ variable generation asset management.

Pavlovski added “Dr. Qin’s previous work with China based Guodian Nanjing Automation Co., Ltd, and his Post-Doctoral Fellow work at Halifax’s Dalhousie University in embedded control system design and application of advanced artificial intelligence methods strongly support our current and planned predictive analytics services for the utility and building energy management markets.”
Dr. Qin received his Masters and PhD degrees in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Harbin Engineering University, a world class engineering university in Harbin, China. He will be working at the company’s head office in Halifax, Canada.
