At Green Power Labs Inc we realize continued growth in solar deployment requires that each solar installation delivers on expected energy generation, ROI and GHG reductions. In addition to careful site selection, competent engineering and system installation, ongoing monitoring of the solar resource and energy output is required to minimize operational losses and maximize ROI.

Our virtual pyranometers monitor site-specific solar radiation conditions globally at best temporal and spatial resolution available from civil satellites. In North America we build new solar datasets half-hourly at 1 sq. km spatial resolution. After that we apply advanced solar power generation models to monitor generation at multiple distributed and centralized solar power sites.
