Green Power Labs Attracts Investment in its Newest Smart Building Energy Management Technology

Green Power Labs Inc.  (GPLI) has been working in the weather-to-energy analytics space since 2004.  In mid-2017 the company successfully launched its new powerful, artificial intelligence platform, Predictive Building Control (PBC). Capable of saving up to 40% of HVAC energy costs in large scale commercial buildings, PBC is an attractive technology targeting a market consuming 36% of the worlds’ energy. In early 2018, the company attracted its first external investment to support the aggressive launch of this technology in selected North American cities.

 To support the planned aggressive strategy to market and deliver the PBC product, Brent Strader, a former GE Energy Services business leader responsible for its global substation automation product line, has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer.  Pavlovski commented “Brent’s contribution is to develop and implement processes to deliver PBC to a market with 130 trillion square feet of commercial office space.  His world class experience in project execution and product line management at GE gives us real bench strength in achieving our objectives.”

Pavlovski concluded “This initial investment positions Green Power Labs well for growth in the energy management space. A second round of investment now in progress will accelerate our penetration in this market and allow us to become a leader in predictive energy management.”
