Minister Fast invites Green Power Labs on China Mission

Green Power Labs is one of 200 Canadian companies invited by Honorable Ed Fast, Canada’s Minister of International Trade to join a trade mission to the People’s Republic of China from November 5th to November 9th, 2014.

“Green Power Labs has been providing its predictive analytics to the China market since late 2013,” said Marlene Moore, Vice President Marketing at Green Power Labs. “We are pleased and much honored to have been invited to join the Mission to China. We attribute part of our success in international markets to missions such as these and the ongoing, excellent support provided by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service,” Moore added.

China has very ambitious renewable energy plans. “Specifically, China has aimed to add 8 gigawatts of distributed solar and 6 gigawatts of utility-scale PV in 2014. This aggressive growth requires predictive analytics across the project lifecycle from planning to deployment and finally grid operations to ensure maximum return on plant siting and design and effective integration of both utility and rooftop solar into the grid, “Moore commented. “This is Green Power Labs’ area of expertise. While we are already working in China, we believe our involvement with Minister Fast’s trade mission will support and strengthen our position in this market.”   The Mission will visit Beijing, Hangzhou and Xi’an.
