High resolution solar resource mapping of Nova Scotia was produced to support utility-scale and distributed solar energy planning in the Province. As part of the Nova Scotia Energy Strategy, a high quality understanding of the solar resource potential was critical in developing Renewable Energy Standard (RES) targets. Our map set included monthly and annual averages of global horizontal irradiation (GHI) maps for Nova Scotia in 1 km² resolution.
