Opportunities for Predictive Energy Management Arising from Trans-Pacific Partnership

Recently Green Power Labs met with the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service officials supporting the growth of Canadian companies in Vietnam, Australia and South Korea to explore opportunities arising from Trans-Pacific Partnership.  “Green Power Labs has been active in the Australian market since 2011” commented Dr. Alexandre Pavlovski, President and CEO of Green Power Labs Inc. “We were interested in understanding how we might use the success we achieved in Australia as a foundation for other markets in the Asia Pacific Region.”   Discussions with potential partners in these new markets are underway.

The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) is a free trade agreement between Canada and 10 other countries in the Asia-Pacific region: Australia, Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. On December 30, 2018 the CPTPP entered into force among the first six countries to ratify the agreement – Canada, Australia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and Singapore. On January 14, 2019, the CPTPP entered into force for Vietnam.
