Maritime Energy Association Invites Green Power Labs to Present at Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum
Today, the Maritime Energy Association invited Green Power Labs to present on solar resource mapping at the 2013 Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CFRE) co-hosted by the Government of Aruba. Attended by 460 Registrants from 45 Countries, discussion at CFRE focused on 2013 as a watershed year for the development of renewables in the Caribbean.
Island states are particularly impacted by rising energy costs and increasing need for energy self-sufficiency, commented Dr. Alexandre Pavlovski, President and CEO of Green Power Labs. Development of successful energy policies relies on a deep understanding of the available energy sources and while solar energy is abundant in the Caribbean, governments and energy developers need multi-layered decision support systems to balance energy and economic priorities. Our high resolution solar resource data presented in GIS format with other decision parameters allow leaders in solar deployment at the state or community level to develop effective immediate, mid-range and long term energy policies and plans, Pavlovski added.
Green Power Labs provides services directly and through its wholly owned subsidiaries to clients in United States, Canada, Australia, Middle East, Europe and China.
