Chamber of Commerce recognizes Green Power Labs CEO

In recognition of his “tremendous” work for the Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Valerie Payn presented an award of recognition and thanks to Dr. Alexandre Pavlovski, President and CEO of Green Power Labs Inc.

In her comments, Ms. Payn commented on Dr. Pavlovski’s dedication as Chair of the Chamber’s Energy Advisory Committee since 2007. During this time, the Energy Advisory Committee presented the view of the business community on provincial and municipal energy strategies in 2007, 2008, and 2010 and most recently in 2014.
“There are over 3.5 billion urban citizens and this number continues to grow. Alexandre firmly believed in the important and significant leadership role municipal governments have in securing and greening our energy supply,” said Marlene Moore, VP Marketing at Green Power Labs. “As a result, he felt a personal and corporate responsibility to support the Chamber’s energy objectives” Moore added.

Pavlovski, Payn and the Chamber urged the local municipal government “to lead in community related energy aspects and areas.”  As a result in part of the Chamber’s work, the city launched a number of energy initiatives including its very popular Solar City Program.
