Over the past five years Halifax Partnerships’ Connector Program has matched over 500 “connectees” with Halifax’s business community keeping these talented and ambitious young men and women here in our city.

‘Two years ago, we met through the Connector Program, a young Nova Scotian looking for career opportunities in his home province. We were sufficiently impressed by his skill and knowledge to create a new position at our company,” said Marlene Moore, VP Marketing at Green Power Labs Inc. “Next month he will be presenting on our company’s innovative work in clean energy to an international energy and weather symposium,” Moore added.

Nova Scotia has world class universities and attracts newcomers from around the world with diverse skills and talent. “Connecting them into Halifax’s business community is essential to strengthen our city’s capacity for innovation and to drive our knowledge based economy,” said Moore. “I am very pleased to have been invited to be a “Connector” in this program and look forward to supporting our city’s growth in this way.”
