International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTP) Invites Green Power Labs to Canada-India Smart Grid Match-Making Mission.

Today, International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTP Canada) invited Green Power Labs to attend the Canada-India Smart Grid Match-Making Mission to New Delhi. In collaboration with Canadian partners and India’s Global Innovation and Technology Alliance (GITA), the week-long program will focus on market-driven opportunities for R&D and business collaboration, in a wide spectrum of smart grid technologies, such as distribution automation, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), energy storage, and fault/loss detection technologies.

We have been keeping a sharp eye on smart grid in India. The state and federal governments have announced aggressive and ambitious plans for solar deployment. Our solar monitoring and forecasting technologies will support these plans and enable elimination of barriers for solar power integration, support full control of the distribution grid and enhances demand response capability commented Dr. Alexandre Pavlovski, President and CEO of Green Power Labs.

He added planning for effective solar deployment requires in-depth knowledge of the available solar resource for utility scale and rooftop deployment. Our high resolution solar resource data and capacity in urban solar mapping allows our team to conduct clean energy asset mapping at substantially increased levels of accuracy over that of typical data available in the public domain. As a result, solar power plants are sited to capture the maximum available solar resource and support higher rates of return on solar power projects.

Green Power Labs provides services directly and through its wholly owned subsidiaries to clients in United States, Canada, Australia, Middle East, Europe and China.
